Trustee Elections 2025
The returning officer has confirmed receipt of three valid nominations for Ngāti Whakaue Assets Trust election.
As there is one vacancy, an election will be held at the Trust Annual General Meeting on Saturday 22 November at Te Papaiōuru Marae.
AGM Registration from 9am - Voting Papers will be issued on registration, for all Ngāti Whakaue aged 18 years or over. Votes can be cast immediately.
The meeting will commence at 9.30am and the Trustee candidates will be invited to speak for no more than 5 minutes each. A period of approximately 10 minutes will then be given to lodge completed voting papers before the Returning Officer closes voting.
Results of the election may be announced by the Returning Officer prior to the conclusion of the meeting.
