Ngāti Whakaue Marae Trustee Training
Marae Trustee Governance Training is now open to all Ngāti Whakaue uri who are currently serving on marae boards, as well as those interested in stepping into marae governance roles.

This training will be facilitated by Dr Tātere McLeod (Kauwaka) and will focus on strengthening governance capability, understanding roles and responsibilities, and supporting effective decision-making for Marae Trustees.
Each Ngāti Whakaue marae may delegate up to two (2) Trustees to attend. There is no cost to marae committees. Confirmation will be sought with Marae Chairpersons to ensure registrations align with allocated spaces.
This is a valuable opportunity to grow governance confidence and capability across our marae network.
Priority will be given to Ngāti Whakaue marae Trustees. Any remaining spaces will be offered to Ngāti Whakaue uri serving on other marae committees or interested in governance roles.
